As you are probably aware, the summer vacation has officially begun. What better way to welcome it than with some fantastic music? As “Holiday” by Green Day is one of my favourite songs to perform on the drums, I decided to cover it.
To get all the pieces exactly right, I had to practise a lot. I needed to improve my timing so that I could strike each note at precisely the appropriate moment. Although it was a little difficult, I persisted in practise until I was successful.
The summer break started off to a terrific start when I recorded a drum cover of “Holiday.” I had a lot of fun doing it, and I also learnt a lot.
